The Strawberry Thief are seeking an eCommerce + Admin Support Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance of our website and oversee inventory control for our busy fabric and haberdashery warehouse.
- $25-$35/hr - subject to experience
- Part-time (minimum 15 hours per week worked over 3 days)
- Work on-site in O’Connor
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Website maintenance - including, but not limited to:
- plugin updates
- creating .csvs to upload new products
- updating and maintaining product listings
- execute all content updates for the homepage and pages across the website
- generating reports as required
- troubleshooting website issues as they arise
- setting up promotion codes and sales
- ensuring product information, images and stock levels are correct on the website
Inventory maintenance
- working with the warehouse team to schedule and carry out stocktakes
- place orders with suppliers to replenish stock
- place orders with the warehouse to restock bundles, pre-cuts and kits
Occasionally the role may also include:
- order fulfilment and other warehouse duties
- additional administrative and customer care tasks
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience maintaining a WordPress and WooCommerce website
- High level of computer literacy including MS Office Suite
- Familiar with web analytics tools and SEO best practice
- An appreciation for, and understanding of, quilting and sewing is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A positive, can-do outlook
