About The Role
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join our team as an E-commerce Operations Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our online business by efficiently processing orders (wrapping & packing), managing inventory, providing outstanding customer service, and help maintain our Shopify store.
Responsibilities:
- Process online orders using Shopify and Shippit, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment
- Manage correct inventory levels in our online platform, conducting regular stock checks and coordinating with the warehouse team for replenishment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of our Shopify platform, ensuring smooth operation and identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate the packaging and distribution of orders, ensuring proper packaging materials and efficient shipping methods are utilised
- Demonstrate a personable and friendly demeanour when interacting with customers and the team, building strong relationships and fostering customer loyalty
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing, inventory management, and data entry
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall growth and success of the e-commerce business
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Shopify or similar online sales platforms beneficial.
- Familiarity with Shippit or other shipping platforms is preferred
- Proficient knowledge in Excel, Office, and Outlook
- Preferred Zendesk knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- A keen eye for detail with quantitative and qualitative data
