- Salary: $101,318 - $116,516 plus 11% Superannuation

The Role
The purpose of this role will be to support the organization in a technical and strategic capacity relating to Economic Development. This position utilizes a variety of technical, research and analytical skills that relate to initiatives that support local businesses and the organisation. The Strategist will achieve this through technical and strategic project delivery of Council led projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop and deliver strategies that respond to the needs of the local business community while aligning with the organisation's goals.
- Establish and/or maintain strategic working relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, including industry groups and government agencies.
- Deliver qualitative and quantitative research findings that support Council projects across the organisation, including local economic analysis, business data analysis, etc.
- Manage business databases and data platforms, and undertake regular data management.
- Support the organisation, executive, business community with the grant management, policy, process, grants platform, and workshops.
About You
- Degree qualification (Planning, Economic Development, Business, Community Development, or related fields)
- Demonstrated ability to undertake qualitative and quantitative research.
- Demonstrated experience with project delivery, stakeholder management that includes building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
