Detailed DescriptionThe ideal candidate to join the team will be a dynamic and dedicated professional who brings a rich understanding of teaching and curriculum development in the fields of animation language and aesthetics, animation design, character animation, and hybrid animation integration. You will also bring with you substantial experience as an animation professional in a 3D animation studio.Successful applications should also have:
- Bachelor's degree in an Animation related field, or industry-based professional practice equivalence
- Demonstrably strong knowledge of techniques and skills with high-end software used for Animation Production
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to address the needs of culturally diverse students
- Experience in subject coordination and use of online learning management systems such as Canvas
Remuneration/SalaryBase Salary Range: $119,475 to $141,405 pa (Level B) pro-rataThis role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits including flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave, and salary packaging opportunities.This position is part-time (0.8FTE, 4 days per week) and the appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
