About the Role
We are seeking an Education Leader to support the implementation of the mission of Catholic Education and to provide high quality service and programs for children in primary school.
Essential Criteria
- A thorough knowledge of the My Time, Our Place Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard;
- Proven and effective leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of high quality educational and care programs for groups of school age children;
- A proven capacity to provide inclusive programs, which are based on the recorded observations and interpretation of children’s responses, needs and interests;
- A sound ability to provide programs, which have a commitment to active involvement of families and local community;
- A genuine passion for mentoring and leading a team of educators;
- A proven ability to implement and manage effective administrative systems;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the ACT Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the implications of child protection policies;
- A willingness to support the ethos and mission of Catholic education.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Children Services and at least 2 years’ experience in an OOSHC or similar setting.
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP)
