ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be accountable for the provision of quality, operational support and leadership through the focus and development of strategies and programs that promote the Institute’s Educational Excellence Framework.
You will directly support the Manager Defence Delivery and peers in Defence Delivery Business area in managing and leading the implementation of educational excellence, business growth and opportunities that enhance the Institute’s reputation and meets industry and community needs in the course areas as designated.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Liaise with Educational Managers to coordinate timetabling for all Defence Delivery
- Liaise with key stakeholders to inform timetabling activities for all Defence student intakes for the Defence Delivery
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the team to deliver operational outcomes including, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress
- Coordinate and validate timetabling data for all Defence Project delivery
- Review and assess timetable bookings in line with the approved process and policy
- Engage in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, customised, high quality vocational education and training responses for identified students and clients
- Engage with employers and industry representatives to ensure teaching materials and content meet industry and employer needs and currency
- Support the delivery of courses/programs in defined areas of expertise as required, modelling teaching delivery methods meeting changing needs and commercial requirements
ABOUT YOU
You will have relevant tertiary qualification in:
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher or willingness to complete
- Vocational qualifications relevant to or above the level required and industry currency
- Registration with professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in timetabling multiple courses utilising CELCAT and demonstrated successful experience in the delivery and development of contemporary educational programs, approaches and developments that meet learner, industry and community needs.
You are a highly motivated Education Manager with experience in developing innovative educational delivery methods to meet needs of a broad range of learners.
