About the role:
Join our team as a Teacher's Assistant to work at a Special Development School in Coburg. We will match your skills, preferences, and availability to the schools we work with to ensure you enjoy the shifts we offer you.
Key duties:
· Assist teachers in providing a safe and stimulating learning environment
· Ensure a continuation of learning for students in the absence of their usual Education Support.
· Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs.
Skills & Experience:
· Completed a relevant Qualification in Education - must be a certificate III or higher.
· Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student teacher mentors are acceptable)
· Ability to work with students with a range of support needs.
· You MUST be willing to work within Special Development Schools.
Desired Skills & Experience:
· Adaptable to changing work environments.
· Experience working with Children with special needs.
