Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;
- Developing our Early Years educational child-centred curriculum to provide the best learning environments and experiences for our children.
- Providing high quality care, safety and education to our children.
- Engaging with children through play and planned learning experiences that extend their interests and development.
- Bringing a friendly, mature, warm and professional approach to everything you do.
- Plan, implement and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Lead a team of educators ensuring the highest quality of care is provided for our children.
- Create magic moments for children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development.
- Motivate and support a team of educators to exceed our quality expectations across curriculum and documentation.
- This role is offered as a part-time position.
About You
You will be a passionate Early Childhood Teacher with an ability to inspire others and guide their practices to assist in the delivery of high quality education in an Early Childhood setting. We look for people who align with our values and who are as passionate about exceeding expectations as we are.
To apply for this role you must have;
- Early Childhood Teacher qualifications or ACECQA approved equivalent ECT (we will also consider candidates working towards this qualification with 50% complete)
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid (or be willing to obtain)
- A passion for learning through play and the ability to use the environment as the ‘third teacher’ to create engaging learning and play spaces in line with our philosophy.
