Sagewood Early Learning has been formed by an experienced team of passionate professionals within the Australian childcare industry. Day to day you will:
- Work off the floor to support the team in programming and practice
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Director, Owner and other Educational Leaders to drive a curriculum that supports a love of learning.
- Evaluate programs using your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Use your prior leadership experience to mentor Educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
- Use your strong knowledge of Montessori Reggio and Steiner to support the program and practice
- Have a strong understanding of how to support educators in day to day practice
- Have oversight to ensure each room and outdoor environment in the centre is immaculately presented creating a warm welcoming feeling.
- Ensure Storypark is supporting a quality practice and evidence to meet the National Quality Standards.
- Plan Events and work with staff's strengths to ensure that we are one team
- Promote the centres learning and quality practice with the community through social media platforms.
You will have:
- Current ACECQA approved Diploma/Bachelor qualification
- Montessori knowledge and training
- Passion
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Strong leadership skills and previous experience in a similar role, working within a large Centre and team
- The ability to work as a team-player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects upon best practice.
- Montessori formal training or experience working in a Montessori environment
