Form of workMundarda Childcare Centre is seeking an Educational Leader to join our vibrant team. We are a not-for-profit centre located in the Armadale area that believes in providing exceptional care to our children and their families. This full-time role is available to start ASAP.
Ed Leader Responsibilities include:
- Lead the educators to plan, implement, assess, and reflect/review a high-quality educational program, based upon the interests, needs, and abilities of children attending the centre
- Ensure that documentation related to the program is kept current and up to date
- Ensure that rooms are engaging in enjoyable routines, appropriate for the children, that respects children’s agency, fosters individuality and encourages independence
- Complete all documentation as specified in the Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Standards and the services policies and procedures
Essential Attributes:
- Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated leadership experience within an early childhood education setting.
- Deep understanding and commitment to implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time Our Place (MTOP), and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, families, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A passion for fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that respects and celebrates diversity.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in educational practices.
