Pedagogical leadership is your strength. As an Educational Leader, you foreground relational ways of working with colleagues, children, and families. In line with the National Quality Standard, you can explain the influence of your role on quality education and care, and the ways you monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program. You are looking to expand your existing content and pedagogical knowledge, and skills in coaching and mentoring educators as adult learners. You seek additional non-contact time to enact the role effectively, including time for coaching and mentoring fellow educators in rooms, undertaking your own professional learning, and networking with fellow Educational Leaders within the organisation and across sector.
As an Educational Leader, you position yourself as a learner, demonstrating responsibility for building your own knowledge base and pedagogical skills to inform high quality practice for children aged birth-5 years. You demonstrate a keen interest in contemporary pedagogies and education research, and frame your role as a lead researcher within the service.
If the above describes you as an Educational Leader, and you are seeking to work with a leading specialist in early childhood education and care, contact us at First Five Early Learning about a role at our new Tarneit service.
