As the Educational Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative educational programs, fostering positive relationships with children and families, and leading a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging educational program that aligns with the principles of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the My Time, Our Place framework.
- Lead and support a team of educators, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and activities, making adjustments as necessary to meet the needs and interests of children.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with school staff and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition between school and OSHC activities.
- Diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- Demonstrated experience working in a leadership role within the education or childcare sector.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place framework, and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Understanding of child development principles and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of each child.

- Work from one primary service with the opportunity to work additional shifts across CEEC’s 130+ services, if desired.
- Gain practical hands-on experience while studying your bachelor’s degree. There are 8 areas of study that are approved as relevant qualifications for working with school-age children, for example early childhood education and care qualification, behavioural science, community services, creative arts/ fine arts/ drama or music, nursing/ physiotherapy/ occupational therapy/ diversional therapy or speech pathology, primary/ secondary or special education, sport and recreation and human welfare studies and services.
