The role
This role, is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to work and grow in a flourishing centre with a diverse and inclusive team of young professionals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating a quality, happy and safe environment for children and families
- Positive role modelling and behaviour guidance
- Providing feedback to the team
- Supporting the Director
- Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and/or Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline
- Leading reflective practice and positive change
- Participating in staff meetings
- Supervision of children at all times
- Observing, planning, and documenting children's learning
- Great learning opportunities and the ability to accrue new skills with Professional Development sessions
Working alongside our existing Lead Educators and Educators to implement Adeona's unique curriculum
To facilitate the growth of our Educators, you'll have the opportunity of 6 hours a fortnight of non-contact time to engage in reflective practices and document learning, including children’s and educator's development.
About you
- You hold a Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent
- You have a great understanding of the principles and practices underpinning the Early Years Learning Framework
- You’re self-motivated
- You’re passionate about the early years and strive for improvement and continuous growth in your practice
- You’re friendly and relaxed in the work environment
- You love collaborating and working within a team environment
