SalaryAn industry leader within the industrial manufacturing space who are innovative and have a want to drive growth. With a large focus on safety, they are looking for a EHS Manager to join the team based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.About the Role
As the EHS Manager you will report to the Senior Quality Manager where you will play a critical function in developing and executing the health, safety, environmental and quality systems. This will include ensuring the compliance with relevant certifications, authorizations, and aligning with the strategic objectives of the company.The primary focus will be on the continuous improvement and implementation of systems, fostering a culture that prioritizes the safety and well-being of all stakeholders and environmental considerations. To be successful in the position, you will be able to influence and build relationships to improve quality and enhance efficiency.Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in the position, you will have the following or similar:
- Degree qualified in OHS qualification or similar.
- Demonstrated capability in developing, implementing, and monitoring organisational wide HSEQ systems and policies (ISO standards)
- Capability of leading and managing teams in delivering successful outcomes
- Quality System Auditor or Lead Auditor certification
- Strong project management experience
- Experience and competence in hazard identification, and risk management
