Here at Concentis, we are partnering with a leading producer in the chemical manufacturing industry here in Central Queensland, that specialises in the production of nitrates. The role requires you to relocate to Central Queensland for this ongoing, rolling contract.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your overall responsibilities as an E&I Project Engineer will include playing a pivotal role in assisting with technical design, coordination and implementation of project delivery activities and ensure project execution are aligned to our clients' standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
- Designing and implementing E&I systems for optimal plant performance
- Ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations
- Providing technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for project success
- Conducting inspections and quality checks on E&I systems
About you:
- Bachelor of Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline
- Professional experience in project management
- Proficient in troubleshooting E&I systems and providing technical support
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems design and implementation
- Be competent in the development of technical engineering documents, drawings and schedules
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
