About the Role:
The EL 2Program Manager (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes across the project management functions of the business.
The position will exercise a significant degree of independence and will use a high-level of decision-making and judgement. The role will be required to coordinate and assume responsibility for highly complex or sensitive projects and work program outcomes across the functions that have strategic or operational significance to the business.
The EL 2Program Manager (Labour Hire) is responsible for initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Where required, it will represent and negotiate on behalf of the business to advance the interests in cross-agency, inter-jurisdictional, and other forums.
Duties:
- Ensure program and project deliverables and milestones are met while reporting on project outputs/outcomes to stakeholders.
- Prepare and review written material including business cases, plans, reports, executive briefs, and corporate documentation.
- Identify, assess, manage, escalate, and monitor program and project risks, issues, and benefits, including developing treatment strategies.
- Develop and deliver optimisation initiatives to support service improvement and performance in line with strategic objectives.
- Undertake the fiscal management of the program including program budgeting, staff resourcing, and management.
Required experience and skills required for the Role include:
- Proven commitment to explore, learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working, to achieve better business outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to cultivate positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates proactivity, emotional intelligence, and self-direction in the face of uncertainty, change, or new situations.
Desirable experience and skills for the Role include:
- Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in project management, change management, and/or relevant industry experience would be highly desirable.
