The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean a peace of mind for every Australian.
A new role awaitsEmbark on an exciting journey as an EL1 Divisional Support Officer in our Providers and Market Coordination Division at the NDIA. This role will support our General Manager, providing top-tier support and streamlining operational duties. The Providers and Market Coordination team is dedicated to driving positive change. The team is responsible for designing and implementing market coordination engagement activities, we strive to enhance providers, participants s, and the overall performance of the scheme. We play y a key role in setting the strategic direction for key capacity building market segments including assistive technology, employment, and social and community participation.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic advice to the General Manager. Coordinating and analysing correspondence, managing budgets, and developing comprehensive reports and briefing materials.
- Addressing a diverse range of issues and risks across various activities within the division. Resolve challenges and support team leadership in planning and coordination.
- Directing enquiries and requests relevant to the business area. Provide valuable advice to the General Manager on critical documents and engagement opportunities, ensuring a smooth and timely flow of information within the division.
- Coordinate end to end life cycle of parliamentary document records. Maintain integrity and efficiency of document management across the division.

This role is ideally performed from Geelong or Richmond. We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months may be offered.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
