EL1 or EL2 Level Organisational Designer

HOBAN Recruitment, a leading workforce solutions provider, is thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for an Organisational Design Professional at EL1 or EL2 Level on behalf of our client in Canberra. Join us in contributing to a pivotal project located in Woden Canberra ACT.
About the Role: As an integral part of the Workforce, Insight, and Reporting team within People Services, you will be tasked with conducting a comprehensive organisational design project focusing on leadership roles with our Client.
This role involves independent work in a supportive team environment. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting role evaluations using the APS Role Evaluation Tool.
Interviewing staff to gather detailed information about role responsibilities.
Verifying and seeking additional information from role supervisors.
Assessing gathered information against APS Work Level Standards.
Writing up assessments and outcomes.
Analysing outcomes for organisational design opportunities.
Briefing IP Australia Executive (Management Committee) on outcomes.
Collaborating with the Organisational Design team in HR.
Leading the project alongside EL2 Workforce Planning.
Communicating effectively with peers and Executive.
Working independently to assess and challenge role evaluation outcomes.
Meeting tight deadlines with high organisational efficiency.
Benefits:
Competitive pay rate of between $66.45 and $$74.79 per hour for EL1 Level and $81.40 and $94.89 per hour for EL2 Level. This rate includes casual loading, providing you with financial stability and recognition for your expertise.

An initial up to 6-month assignment with the possibility of an extension, based on business requirements, providing job security and potential long-term prospects.

About You: To excel in this role, you will possess:
Proven experience in organisational design at EL1/EL2 Level.
Strong analytical and evaluative skills using the APS Role Evaluation Tool.
Excellent communication skills to engage with peers and Executive.
Ability to work independently while ensuring project coordination.
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
Capability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutions.
Adaptable to tight deadlines and changing project demands.
Deliverables:
Conduct role evaluations.
Develop comprehensive project plans.
Create effective Consultation and Communication plans.
Generate well-documented role evaluations.
Provide detailed written reports on recommendations.
