Our expanding company is seeking to hire a Manager to join our leadership team. You will oversee providing inspired leadership, overseeing daily business operations, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. You will also be assisting our Human Resources department with recruiting.
You will importantly promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance.
Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources (or a related field) and have prior experience in a management or leadership position. Experience in Glass/Glazing is preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide inspired leadership for the organization
- Overseeing daily business operations including projects
- Supervision of company fleet/staff/employees
- Oversee productivity reporting, managing Employee KPIs and conduct performance appraisal/management
- Set and enforce standard – Get it done, drive deadlines and coach the team to meet them.
- Set Expectations - During site visits build relationships, set standards, and give and receive feedback informally and formally
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Work with senior stakeholders to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
- HR recruiting
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
- Support worker communication with the management team.
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients and suppliers
- Address customers' concerns in a timely manner
- Manage challenging situations that may affect customers
- Identify customers’ needs and wants
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Open to learning or having an in-depth knowledge of the formwork business
- Comply and ensure work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with workplace health and safety, quality rules and regulations
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management major is preferred)
- + Two years of experience in a management role
- Excellent Computer literacy
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills
- Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management
- Excellent Telephone Communication Proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal people skills.
- Strong Performance Appraisal and Reporting skills
