This department delivers social and health related services through its programmes. Through close collaboration with the community and partner agencies, this department plays an active role in developing new approaches to social and health related policy and service delivery.
Your new role
The Program Management Office provides strategic oversight and management for the Health Delivery Modernisation (HDM) Program and is responsible for:
- Portfolio and relationship management for the Health Delivery Modernisation Program.
- Management of program and project artefact and overall assurance.
- Program governance and strategic communications (briefing materials, Ministerial briefings, board and committee papers).
- Program management including integrated scheduling, reporting, risks and issues management, change management, benefits management, resource planning, financial management and contingency planning.
- Ongoing stakeholder engagement with key HDM Program stakeholders, ranging from the ICT PMO to projects that are located across multiple branches.
What you'll need to succeed
- Government experience.
- Finance management experience.
- The ability to undertake research and analysis to solve problems and make sound decisions using appropriate judgement.
- Contribute to the management of program budgets.
- Management of resource plans, timesheets and associated corporate reporting.
- The ability to prepare and undertake reporting, effectively communicate and conveying key messages - verbal and written - to a wide variety of audiences to influence outcomes and achieve business objectives.
- Experience with payment of invoices.
