El1 - Publications And Digital Manager

Chandler Macleod are recruiting an EL1 Publications and Digital Communications Manager for our Federal Government Client based in Sydney.
This is a 12-month Fixed term contract between $118-127,427 per annum plus Super 15.4% per annum plus 15.4 super. The role offers flexible working arrangements.
You must be an Australian Citizen to apply and ability to hold a baseline seruciry clearance.

As the EL1 Publications and Digital Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency’s digital presence and communication strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies, creating engaging content, managing publications, and collaborating across teams to effectively communicate key messages related to workplace gender equality.
Key Responsibilities:

• Strategize: Develop and implement digital strategies, goals, and workplans aligned with broader communications strategies.
• Write: Create compelling Plain English print and Digital content to effectively communicate key messages related to workplace gender equality.
• Edit: Ensure external publications have appropriate structure, correct grammar, perfect punctuation, and the right tone of voice.
• Project Manage: Keep track of multiple projects and content pieces, ensuring working groups meet their deadlines.
• Communicate and Collaborate: Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and vendors using excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Analyse: Utilize tools like Google Analytics and world-leading datasets to pick out key trends and points for communication across our many publications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in digital communications, publications management, or related roles.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on creating engaging content in Plain English.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and experience analyzing data to inform communication strategies.
• Passion for workplace gender equality and a commitment to driving positive change.
