4Kitchens is seeking to employ an enthusiastic Electrical and Instrument Technician to support our current and future work. An attractive salary, including work (or funded) vehicle, will be negotiated with the suitable applicant.
Key Job Responsibilities:
•Conducting tests of electrical systems
•Assembling, installing, testing, modifying and repairing electrical equipment
•Undertaking electrical workshop functions, such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices
•Experience with PLC’s, fault finding and 3 phase motors
•Be able to read and modify electrical drawings
•Be able to conduct tests of electrical systems
•Be able to assemble, install, test, modify and repair electrical equipment
•Undertaking scheduled maintenance, break down service and installations for clients including Cabinet Makers, Shopfitters, Furniture Manufacturers, Joineries and Aluminium Window Manufacturers
•Maintaining good communication with the Service Manager
•Providing timely feedback to the Service Manager on actions resulting from service jobs
•Focus on efficiency, safety and quality to your work
•Be provided with training and supported for future growth
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
•Formal trade qualification as an Electrician.
•Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
•Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License.
•Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in English.
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
•Ability to work overtime when required, including a rotating On Call weekend roster for breakdowns.
Desirable Experience:
•Instrumentation Experience.
•PLC Fault Finding.
•Previous experience in water/wastewater treatment.
