About the Role:
The Project Administrator will work closely with Project Managers and the Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of comprehensive action plans including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development, delivery and handover of projects working with the project team
- Support the development of Work Breakdown Structure for planned work effort
- Support the review of construction documents for completeness and ensure all area personnel are aware of the scope and obligations under the contract
- Implement time saving initiatives to accelerate project delivery within appropriate risk tolerances
- Monitor all costs in line with budget forecasts and ensure appropriate action is taken to advise clients early of cost impacts
- Communicate budget variances to the Senior Project Manager and clients
- Maintain accurate and timely records of resources used (labour, timesheets, materials, subcontractors) and work completed
- Complete each of the activities noted in the Project Closure process as quickly as practicable
- Ensure hand over manuals and relevant project documentation are provided to the Client groups and integrate with the ongoing facilities management services
- Support the completion of final defects within defect liability period
About You:
- Proven work experience (+3 years) in a project, construction administration or similar support role preferred but not essential
- Tertiary qualifications in project management preferred but not essential
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong safety focus
- Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
- Flexible attitude to working hours to meet demand
