The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team within the Electrical department.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations related to site Combustion Systems
- Monitor Combustion Systems, identify improvement opportunities, and propose system enhancements
- Assist with change management initiatives and business improvement projects
- Develop and maintain job procedures for tasks involving natural gas and implement required training for natural gas compliance
- Conduct statutory inspections, maintenance, and servicing of natural gas appliances and piping systems
- Identify and address risks associated with gas appliances and piping systems, and coach site gas fitters
About You
This role would suit a compliance focused Industrial Gas Fitter. You will also have:
- Unrestricted Glass I licence and WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical licence
- Knowledge of gas standards legislation, gas safety, basic combustion, and AS/NZS 3814
- Proven experience in electrical installation standards, with an understanding of Mines Safety & Inspection Act and Regulations, and WA Electrical Requirements
- Strong understanding of production and maintenance requirements
- Extensive maintenance experience in large industrial or mining environments
- Experience in a continuous processing plant and expertise in mechanical, electrical, and steam plant equipment maintenance
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively
