Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate process studies and plan trials
- Coordinate plant commissioning and troubleshooting as required
- Coordinate and manage projects to deliver productivity / efficient / improvements for various existing processes
- Be a part of the Team to plan, coordinate and lead design, construction, and commissioning of new projects
- Manage project orders, including specification of parts, requesting supplier quotes, CAPEX requests, raising purchase orders, checking deliveries, and managing project budget
- Project related Risk Assessments and HAZOP studies
- Coordinate the procurement of contracts and suppliers and manage contractors (inductions, work permits, MOC/D&D meetings)
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications - Essential Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related equivalent degree
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Electrical or Controls Engineering field or equivalent
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite of products such as Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, Office, Internet Explorer, Project (Professional & Online) and Outlook
- Experienced in PLC programming and SCADA development (RSLogix 500/5000, Citect, FactoryTalk, Ignition)
- Proficient in 2D CAD, preferably skilled in AutoCAD
- HAZOP experience
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Experience in working in a team/Project management ability
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong budgeting and reporting skills
Desirable
- Experience in instrumentation specification
- A good working understanding of refrigeration cycles and systems, pressure systems design/codes and associated hazards
- Permit issuer training
- An understanding of GC analysis
- Hazardous area classification (and design) training or experience
