Advanced Robotics Engineering is a small, family operated Robotics and Automation Company based in Pakenham, Victoria.
You will be an integral part of the Automation team, ensuring that we provide cost effective, excellent solutions to a wide variety of industries.
Our aim is to foster and grow engineers, giving them the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the system development process.

The role is very hands on and requires hard work and dedication.
The applicants must be engaged and self-motivated. As a part of this position you may be required to travel around Victoria and Interstate from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Design and documentation of electrical control systems
- Procurement of electrical components
- PLC, HMI and IPC Programming and testing
- Robot Programming
- Vision, Sensor and other peripheral equipment programming
- Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- On-site installation and commissioning
- Some training will be given if you are not familiar with all of the above
Role Requirements:
As an experienced Automation &Electrical Control Engineer, we expect a good understanding of automated systems and experience in the relevant equipment. You will have proficient PLC and HMI programming skills and have some experience in designing and implementing electrical control systems. We expect you to have an analytical mind, as well as the drive to implement solutions that you will follow through to the end.
- A degree or diploma in Mechatronic Engineering or similar Electrical Training/Qualification. (Experienced A-grade Electricians welcome)
- You will require a current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
- You will be willing to work the amount of hours required to meet project objectives.
- You will have a can do attitude and be capable of planning your work to meet the required timelines.
- Number of years of experience working on electrical control systems.
- A good understanding of all aspects of Automated equipment including; Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical & switching.
- Ability to learn new systems, design electrical control circuits & communication networks.
- Experience with industrial robotic programming would be advantageous
