The Role:
- Draft electrical masterplans and all related work
- Design public lighting plans and liaise with council for approvals
- Coordinate with network representatives and demonstrate understanding of commercial aspects
- Proven knowledge of Powercor, AusNet, United Energy and Jemena design standards
- Design of URD reticulation detailed designs to relevant technical standards
- Design and drafting of electrical cabling layout to run power to point of supply and site pillars
- Design to AS3000 specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and provide support and guidance
- Provide ongoing project management to deliver projects on time and to budget
- Adhere to the relevant Australian Standards
- Ongoing customer communication with project process
What you need:
- 5+ years of proven experience with Underground Residential Development projects working within but not limited to Powercor, AusNet, Jemena, and United Energy networks.
- Electrical Engineering Diploma or bachelor’s degree
- AutoCAD proficient
- AGI32 and PerfectLite proficient
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Be willing to learn new technology and innovations
