Check out our website www.ptas.com.au The position Electrical Engineer Full Time Permanent Position Salary range $80,000 to $100,000 Qualifications & experience Engineer qualifications, Bachelor Degree, or equivalent Min 2 years work experience/on the job training Full or provisional license accepted Experience working in the commercial site installation industry preferred but not essential.

- Accountable for engineering design of switchboards and PLC panels to fulfill customers’ technical specification and all associated field equipment.
(LCS, instruments, cabling etc).
- Produces electrical drawings, engineering analysis and design work.
- Undertakes computer-assisted engineering design & programming software to perform engineering tasks.
- Maintains records during project, prepares BOMs and ensures all documentation is complete to customer required specifications.
(Supplier document register.) Responsibilities
- Undertake Electrical Engineering design requirements across projects.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering design & programming software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
(Auto-Cad).
- Study work order requests and specifications to determine all requirements for each customer.
- Visit proposed sites to determine customer requirements when required.
- Interpret specifications, calculating equipment requirements and ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
- Compile and transmit final documentation to customer including a copy of marked up drawings/As Built, QA Doc’s, Manuals / Data Sheets etc
