On behalf of Capital Fire Pty Ltd a leading fire protection company specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of cutting-edge fire safety systems, committed to ensuring the safety and security of businesses and communities based in the Roseville NSW 2069, we are conducting a search for a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer.
Current Opening:
This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks
- Designing electrical systems and components based on project requirements and specifications.
- Developing and implementing electrical plans, layouts, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments to determine the viability and efficiency of electrical alarm systems and automatic fire detection systems to ensure they meet the standards to which they were installed.
- Ensuring compliance with Australia industry standards, regulations, and safety codes in all Electrical Engineering projects.
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to integrate electrical systems with overall project designs.
- Performing detailed calculations to determine electrical load capacities, circuit requirements, and system specifications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues and providing technical support during the construction and commissioning phases.
- Managing and overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate materials and equipment for electrical projects while considering cost, quality, and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- A minimum of two-three years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments.
- Familiarity with Australian industry standards, regulations, and safety codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for electrical systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Capability to perform detailed calculations for electrical load capacities and system specifications.
- Knowledge of materials and equipment selection for electrical projects, considering cost and performance.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of electrical design and implementation.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hours work week.
