Electrical Engineer FMCG Industry – Staff / Contract
Our client, a well-known global iconic company producing high quality consumer goods has an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join their team in either a staff or a contract role.
Located in central NSW and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the development, management & execution of a raft of your own green & brown field projects as well as supportin various engineering projects developed & undertaken by the other members within the engineering group.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintaining all financial & scheduling aspects of works to ensure allocated budgets & timeframes are strictly adhered to
- Develop design solutions to ensure compliance with scope, specifications & quality requirements
- Ensure all commercial terms and agreements are understood and adhered to
- Liaise with the Engineering Manager and any other relevant stakeholders to provide appropriate feedback on project status, estimates and any other requirements.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and adhered to
- Taking on the Lead Electrical Engineering role within the group as required
To be successful in this role you will need:
- A formal Electrical Engineering Qualification
- Approx. 10 years experince in a similar field
- Excellent experience in FMCG control and automation systems
- Excellent experince with various PLC’s
- Citect, Allen Bradley, Siemens. & Rockwell
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Previous experience in a food or related industry would be advantageous
- Experience with a variety of process equipment, materials handling equipment and bulk storage systems
- Experience in a site-based manufacturing environment
- Experienced in managing large capital projects as well as safety & maintenance requirements.
- Excellent experience with the Microsoft suite of products including MS Project
- To be able to communicate and influence required outcomes at all levels.
- Excellent written, verbal & computer skillsDetail the qualifications and relevant experience required for the job.
