Currently resourcing for capital projects and plant engineering maintenance upgrade projects for the Illawarra Steel-making and coal mining industry sectors.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineers & Electrical Project Engineers with heavy industrial engineering & construction project delivery experience, to join the owners project delivery teams. Resourcing for projects with durations for 4-6 months to 4 years+ in duration.
Role Overview of Key Tasks
- Analysing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.
- Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects.
- Ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed at all times.
- Completing quality assurance on all electrical components and projects and writing up reports.
- Using 2D CAD software to draft designs.
- Analysing and approving various construction and engineering plans.
- Ensuring all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in Electrical Engineering.
- Client facing role.
Ideal Candidate
- Electrical engineering degree or similar.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
- A sound understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent time management and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work in a team and remain professional at all times.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
