EPSA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to be employed by the company on a full-time permanent basis. This is your chance to unlock your full potential and make a lasting impact. You will work within a high performing team.
About the role:
- A small truck and shovel coal mining operation supplying the modern and efficient Millmerran Power Station
- Fulfil the duties of an Electrical Engineering Manager prescribed by current legislation
- Establish and provide supervision to the Electrical Engineering standards and procedures with reference to technical standards relevant to legislative requirements including the development and review of the site electrical management plan
- Ensure compliance to the site electrical management plan by delivering and performing Electrical Engineering services that meet the business and technical requirements and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications
- Measure the effectiveness of the Electrical Engineering standards and procedures against the performance standards of the safety management system, and understand where, when and how we can continuously improve.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, proposals and estimates, and procurement and commissioning activities as required
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in Electrical Engineering.
- Communicate effectively with the Electrical Engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
To be successful you will have:
- Generic Surface Induction - Standard S11 SOA
- S123 & G2 – Supervisor Competencies
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Electrical Trade Certificate/Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
- Open Cut Electrical Engineering Certificate of competency accepted by the Safety and Health Advisory Committee
- Extensive experience in Australian Mining, Minerals, or Metals
- Experience generating engineering estimates and quotations.
- Experience generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets.
- SAP experience with Master Data exposure
- Understanding the operations and maintenance of mining equipment
- Current Coal Board Medical, or willingness to complete along with a Pre-Employment Medical.
