As the Electrical Estimator, you will be the one who leads and develops the bidding and tendering works for upcoming mining projects, building and analysing pricing schedules, proposals, scopes of works and technical specifications.
- Perform electrical estimation for Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) and Process Infrastructure projects on mine sites.
- Review and analyse electrical project requirements, plans, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure comprehensive and precise electrical estimations.
- Prepare detailed estimates for NPI and Process Infrastructure projects, including cost breakdowns, timelines, and resource allocation, to support project planning and decision-making processes.
To be considered you must have:
- You’ll have 5+ years of experience in electrical estimation space.
- The knowledge of the technical processes that are a part of PI & NPI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- Proven background engaging with BHP and RIO.
- A well-rounded understanding of building bidding and tender strategies within the mining industry.
- Experience producing correspondence, written reports, and instructions to a professional standard.
- Proven relationship management skills, with experience utilizing organic business relationships to obtain new jobs, clients, and potential growth opportunities.
