As an Electrical and Instrumentation Leading Hand in the fixed plant maintenance team at Kwinana, you'll be provided with the tools to work within a zero harm safety culture. With our support, you'll also ensure targeted plant and equipment availability. This role provides a stepping stone for someone looking to transition into a supervision role, with ample opportunities to develop your skills.You will report to the Electrical / Instrumentation Supervisor and on a daily basis your core duties will include:
- Assist Supervisor to delegate work to the team
- Provide technical advice and
- support to fellow Maintenance team members
- Identify correct parts and equipment for all planned and unplanned work
- Continuously review scheduled jobs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Avoid rework and the unnecessary use of parts and services (cost management)
- Manage customer expectations
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and systems to ensure all work is carried out safely
About YouRequired skills and experience:- Electrical Trade Qualification
- WA Electrical Licence
- Cert IV in Instrumentation
- HV experience
- EEHA Certificate
- Previous experience in a similar position in the mining industry
- Valid WA Drivers Licence
- High Risk Tickets EWP, Forklift (desirable)
- Supervised Gas Fitter (desirable)
- Electrical In-House Nominee (desirable)
