Seeking an experienced Electrician to work in a public hospital in Northam and Moora, DIDO opportunity Your new company A government department are seeking an experienced Electrician to work across two hospital locations in the Wheatbelt - Northam and Moora. You will be engaged on an ongoing temporary contract, starting as soon as possible. This opportunity can be offered on a 8:6 DIDO arrangement, with accomodation provided. Alternatively, if you live locally you can work on a Monday - Friday roster. Your new role As the Electrical Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for:
Undertake efficient servicing and maintenance of electrical, electronic, communication and mechanical systems, including refrigeration, air-conditioning and plant and kitchen equipment
Responding to an issue but identifying problems and troubleshooting
Communicating with the facilities management team to support resolving issues and undertaking repairs
Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders around issues and requirements for replacement of plant and equipment
Carry out general repairs and modifications as required
Installing new equipment
What you'll need to succeed
"A" Class Electrical Licence
Confident understanding of electrical regulations, standards and legislation
Strong communication skills
Excellent IT skills with experience using maintenance scheduling systems (desirable)
Possession of a current C or C-A class driver's licence
