This role is a new role that requires experience and the ability to work autonomously and efficiently. As an essential cog to the look, feel and use of the local Perths clubs you are responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance across our sites and brands. Your day-to-day will include assisting with maintenance planning, reviewing and responding to tickets raised for maintenance requests in the WA area. This will include maintenance of our gym equipment, and general site maintenance which include repairing fixtures, facilities and technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive work orders, plan approach to the workday with efficiency and prioritisation as key objectives
- Assist members of the Facilities team and club staff with Facilities related issues from site, escalating to the Operations Coordinator or State Maintenance Leader as needed
- Communicate with other members of the Central Services team on tasks and issues that may arise, and keep members of the team up to date with task and jobs being performed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The essential skills & qualifications we are looking for are:
- Experience in maintaining equipment and fixing fixtures
- You will have demonstrated experience within a similar role and be confident and proficient in effectively working independently and in a team of maintenance staff performing general repairs and maintenance.
- Proven ability in managing multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of safe work practices, including the ability to safely use a variety of tools.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- White Card (If not currently holding would be willing to acquire)
- Silica Awareness certification
- Asbestos Awareness Certification
- Working with Vulnerable people check/Working with Children check (If not currently holding would be willing to acquire)
- Drivers license (If not currently holding would be willing to acquire)
