We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineers with experience in water management to assist our tier 1 mining client in their Perth Office. The roles are are 5/2 roster (8 hour days), with potential flexibility. The role will involve site travel for projects with as little as 1-2 days per month to 2-3 days per week.

These role is paying $250k/year ($230k + super) with an initial 12 month contract with very likely extension or if you wish, deployment to one of our many other clients.
The Role
Be at the forefront of delivering Electrical Projects across our clients Pilbara iron ore operation. These are medium sized projects around $50m in size, working on 1-2 projects at a time. The role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and passionate team, and implement step-change solutions to meet the clients short to medium term operational needs. The role will suit motivated and self-starting individuals who can apply their practical knowledge to safely deliver project work.
Past project management work on client side would be very favourable however the client is willing to bring the right candidate up to speed should they wish to develop their career in project work, knowledge of electrical systems and projects in the most important factor for success.
- Management of projects through lifecycle (order of magnitude, pre-feasibility study, feasibility study, execution, commissioning, handover, closeout).
- Management of all project elements (cost, quality, schedule, site delivery & safety) related to capital projects in accordance with the clients Sustaining Capital Portfolio Framework using standard tools, procedures, and specifications.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
- Technical understanding of Electrical Projects.
- Bachelor of Engineering or similar construction-based discipline or Trade Certificate + Project Management Training
- Experience with project management in both studies and construction (leading project team for full life cycle).
- Core project delivery skills (safety, cost, schedule, quality) developing cost estimates, managing budgets, and developing and managing schedules
- Have exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel within the business.
- Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
- Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
- Working Rights in Australia and based in Perth.
