Full-time Electrical Project Manager required to join our Southern Division, based in Cambridge Tasmania.
The role reports directly to the Divisional Manager and will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of tradespeople and apprentices. Candidates will need to demonstrate a background of successful project management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the delivery of projects ensuring delivery is on-time, within scope and on-budget.
- Managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure and costs against project deliverables.
- Managing scope changes, including the preparation and submission of variation requests and approvals.
- Providing onsite leadership and day to day management of site-based teams.
- The engagement and management of key subcontractors required for project delivery, including performance management and any dispute resolution requirements.
- Reporting project status, including cash flow forecasting, cost to complete and labour forecasting and preparation of project claims.
- Role model the company’s vision and mission and support the development of a culture in line with the company’s values
To be successful in this role, you will display:
- Strong people management, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to prepare accurate, competitive quotes and win new project work.
- Experience managing large projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
- Experience in project related financials including, contract administration, cash flow forecasting, cost to complete and monthly progress claims.
- Strong knowledge and technical experience in structured cabling systems including both fibre and copper networks.
- Experience and understanding of mechanical electrical systems (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, by-laws and codes.
- A proven strong work ethic with high safety and quality work standards.
- Computer literate and capable of using computer systems.

- Current drivers’ licence (full manual)
- Current Electrical Workers Licence
