About the Role
An opportunity has become available for an Electrical Supervisor to join Downer’s Industrial Energy business unit reporting into the Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will be involved with:
- Planning day-to-day activities to align with schedule objectives
- Foster and maintain a collaborative, high-performing, and client-oriented culture of continuous improvement and effectively lead a large workforce to support the delivery of strategic objectives
- Understand and implement the works or services programme/schedule
- Notify and escalate to the Maintenance Manager of any potential changes or changes to scope or delays
- Participate as required in consultative forums pertaining to safety, quality, and environmental management
- Ensure plant and labour is managed in accordance with Downer processes.
About You
- Trade certificate/ electrical license
- Certificate IV in Management (desirable)
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and policies
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to plan and prioritise work
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams to achieve results and objectives
