As the Electrical Team Leader, your main responsibility will be to lead a diverse team of electricians and apprentices in effectively maintaining the site's electrical infrastructure. In this role you will:
- Ensure the successful execution of the maintenance plan
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the applicable standards
- Monitor that all compliance inspections and testing are conducted and documented
- Coordinate contractors on site, including issuing permits of work
- Contribute to weekly planning and shutdown plans
- Lead from the front and provide support to your team when necessary
- Proven experience in a Supervisory role or similar in a heavy industrial environment
- Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence
- Electrical Instrumentation (desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in a Technical or Engineering discipline (desirable)
- HV Switching Certified (desirable)
- EEHA Certified (desirable)
- High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in SAP
