About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to undertake electrical works at our Narngulu Minerals Separation Plant (MSP). This position will be offered on a rotating 4/4 shift roster, including night shift. Relocation assistance is available.
Reporting directly to the Electrical Coordinator, the primary function of the role is to assist in the optimisation of plant availability by carrying out onsite scheduled electrical maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment in accordance with established Iluka standards, as well as attending to and minimising any plant breakdown activities.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections
- Carry out troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis
- Solve reliability issues using fault finding abilities
- Continual assessment and improvement of the process, equipment and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License
- Demonstrated experience working and maintaining a fixed plant environment
- Unrestricted WA C Class Driver's Licence
- The ability to commit to an 4/4 shift roster rotation with the night shift component

- Ability to work as part of a diverse team, while also demonstrating initiative and an ability to work independently
Previous experience in the following would be advantageous:
- Cert IV Instrumentation
- Supervised Gas Fitting Qualification
- Nationally accredited HV Switching Qualification
- Industrial or mining environment experience
- High Risk License – Crane (CN), Dogman (DG), Forklift (LF), Work platform (EWP)
- Experience with Confined Space and Working at Heights
