Workshop based in Maddington with a Car
FIFO when required
$60/hour Workshop Mon-Friday 40hr/week
$70/day (working away) 12 hour shifts
$80/night (working away) 12 hour shifts
The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and Field Service Technician to work in Maddington workshop and on-site when required which varies. Reporting to the service manager you will be required to perform the following:
- Site commissioning, repairs and installation supervision of products such as motorised reels, cable protection, connectors and power units
- Determine mechanical faults and provide maintenance on products
- Use electro-mechanical knowledge with changing gearboxes, chain drives, electrical insulators and LV switches
- Collaborate with other team members
- Build and maintain customer relationships in a professional manner
- Provide written service and expense reports on all activities carried out in workshop and onsite
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Provides innovative connection and electrification solutions to enable the decarbonization of ports and industrial applications. An International company, with a local team on 16 in Maddington workshop
Requirements:
- Electrical Trade Certification
- Hands on electrical and mechanical experience
- Proficiency in reading and understanding drawings/schematic
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Punctuality and reliability
