Our client is seeking a Industrial/Maintenance Electrician that has experience working with industrial plant equipment maintenance, and facilities maintenance in manufacturing or industrial facilities. They are a well respected organisation that offers full time hours of a rolling roster (Morning, Afternoon, Evening). 

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the electrical maintenance and installations at our facility. This position requires expertise in fault finding, experience ideally in technical repairs, breakdown prevention, and working in a live plant environment. Minimum of 3 years' experience in automated facilities. You will diagnose electrical issues, perform inspections, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
 
About The Role:  
In this role you will be responsible for: 

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with codes and regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automation and electrical issues.
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
• Respond to emergency repairs promptly and safely.
• Cooperate professionally with clients, team members, and management.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Valid Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (QLD).
• Experience in plant equipment, manufacturing or processing facilities.
• Strong mechanical understanding for fault finding.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities  manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Valid Australian Driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
