On behalf of our client (Probelogic), we are advertising. Probelogic is looking for Electronics Technician to join their team. Purpose of role: Perform electromechanical repairs on ultrasound transducers as required. Main duties and responsibilities:Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Booking in probes
- Assist with troubleshooting/fault finding and diagnosis, including the development of relevant reports.
- Perform electromechanical repairs on ultrasound probes as required.
- Provide technical advice and support for customer repair quotes where needed.
- Monitor and assist in the repair process of probe repair jobs.
- Monitor and assist in the repair process of all-in-one ultrasound units with fixed probes.
- Photographing – arrival & post repair
- Ensure correct entry of all jobs worked on is logged correctly in the relevant system.
- Complete post-job repair records
- Assist with development and documentation of new repairs as needed.
- Provide technical advice for the development or ongoing improvement of existing repair processes.
Other duties: Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required. Experience and skills required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience involved with maintenance of medical ultrasound and medical ultrasound probes.
- Experience within laboratory or medical industries.
