We are looking for an experienced ELICOS Academic Manager to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative ELICOS curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Organise and participate in evaluating, validating and moderating the curriculum and assessments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ELICOS teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Oversee matters of staff-student relations and student-student relations.
- Provide academic counselling to students, as required.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the quality and integrity of our ELICOS program.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for program improvement and growth.
- Manage the administrative tasks related to the ELICOS program, including staffing.
- Oversee the department’s material resources and budget.
- Be proactive in marketing courses and the corporate image, encouraging enrolments and developing the syllabus to meet client demands.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ELICOS program management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and best practices in English language teaching and assessment.
