About the role:
This role will be responsible for supporting the broader AU Workplace Relations Team and management in compliance-related activities, and delivering best practice Employee Relations outcomes with the Wilson Group business. In your role, you will be responsible for the proactive management of various compliance-related processes including but not limited to the following-
- Casual conversion
- Visa checks and expires
- Abandonment of employment
You will also provide advice and support on employee and industrial matters, including effectively managing workplace grievances, assisting managers with performance management, and conducting workplace investigations. You will work collaboratively with the AU Workplace Relations Team to support the resolution of Employee Relations issues and cases, including the management of workplace grievances, assisting managers with performance management, and conducting workplace investigations. This role plays a key role in providing critical support to key stakeholders across Wilson Group in ensuring compliance against relevant industrial instruments and end-to-end ER/IR advice, case management and project delivery.

Description
Key Duties include:
- Delivering accurate, pragmatic and timely Employee Relations advice about matters of compliance, strategy and risk including modern Award, legislation and Policy Interpretation
- Conduct thorough and well-documented internal investigations
- Developing meaningful relationships with key stakeholders to empower leaders in the areas of performance improvement, providing feedback and dispute resolution
- Work collaboratively with the Employee Relations and Advisory team and People & Capability Business Partners to manage the development and implementation of training for line managers, in key Workplace Relations policies (e.g., Respect at work, performance management)
- Assisting in the development of organisational understanding and application of best practice IR strategy
- Proactively support continuous improvement and compliance activities across the Group.
Profile
Skills and requirements:
- A passionate workplace relations or HR professional with 1+ years' experience, looking to further develop their ER skills and experience
- Ability to work collaboratively and pragmatically with all parts of the business including operational leads, the senior management team, payroll, health and safety, and the broader HR team
- High levels of interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus and the capacity to follow tasks through to completion
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent attention to detail
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Numerical ability and accurate data entry skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Word and Excel)
Job Offer
