About Our Client

They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The Employee Relations Advisor will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and guidance on Employee Relations matters, fostering positive workplace relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Job Description
Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of Employee Relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace investigations.
Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to promote positive Employee Relations and a culture of respect and collaboration.
Advise on the interpretation and application of employment legislation, industrial agreements, and company policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve complex Employee Relations issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for managers and employees on relevant Employee Relations topics and best practices.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Employee Relations matters, ensuring confidentiality and data privacy compliance.
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience in an Employee Relations role, preferably within a retail or similar fast-paced environment.
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, and contemporary HR practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complex and sensitive situations with discretion and integrity.
