In this role, you'll:
You’ll partner with our Director of Employee Relations for Sydney Trains to provide professional advice and support and coach leaders to foster collaborative workplace relations for the next Rail Enterprise Agreement negotiation.
You’ll shape and implement Employee Relations frameworks and strategies aimed at enabling the workforce priorities to ensure high levels of engagement.
You’ll develop and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders across Sydney Trains and government to ensure the organisation remains aligned with the strategic goals set by the executive leadership team.
This is a 6 month Temporary position in a hybrid working model with flexibility to work in our Elizabeth Street/Burwood offices.

About you
Your experience in high level strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills in an industrial environment on a large-scale enterprise agreement in an industrial environment is highly desirable.
You’ll have comprehensive knowledge of the industrial relations discipline combined with strong negotiation skills and proven ability to be innovative in resolving conflict
You will be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical, and you will be familiar with the requirements associated with Enterprise Agreement negotiation.
You’ll build relationships easily, and your ability to influence internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment and navigate competing deadlines and priorities is unquestioned.
You’ll maintain a high standard of work, and having previously worked in a similar environment, you are aware of the political sensitivities and maintain confidentiality in what you do.
