Role available;
Tursa Employment & Training is seeking to employ an Employment Adviser.
This role will be based across Kempsey and is an ongoing (permanent), full-time position (72 hour, 9-day fortnight; no weekends). We are also currently offering staff an optional 4-day work week trial.
About the role;
Employment Advisers within the Business Liaison Team engage with employers to create and source suitable employment opportunities for our participants. Specific duties include:
Employer Engagement & Job Creation: Assist local employers and participants through:
- Creating and sourcing job opportunities from local employers to match with the skills and experience of participants
- Reverse marketing participants to local employers
- Supporting participants and employers through the recruitment process
- Providing advice and training regarding job search skills and techniques
- Accessing appropriate resources for participants
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and develop existing and new partnerships with relevant stakeholders and employers
- Assess and advise stakeholders & employers on a wide range of commercial proposals including activities, incentives and benefits related to the provision of TURSA’s services

What we need form you:
- The ability to build professional relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated capacity to achieve results within a highly competitive industry
- Demonstrated experience and skills in effective conflict resolution and negotiation
- Ability to multi-task along with excellent time management skills
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
