Emr Application Analyst, Pharmacy

• Department for Health and Wellbeing – Digital Health SA – Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Project
• Salary: $102,641 to $110,094 – AHP3 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 28 June 2024 with the possibility of extension

Overview:

• The Application Analyst – Content: Pharmacy is accountable for providing high level advice and expertise into the planning, design, build, implementation and operationalisation of Pharmacy Clinical Content, a component of the EMR Project, across SA Health.
• The incumbent will have detailed knowledge of the specific clinical care service domain which will inform the functional and operational requirements for the EMR Project System. The Application Analyst – Content Pharmacy will also identify opportunities for improved workflow based on improved information management capabilities presented by the EMR application.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

• A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving ‘Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups’ is required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
• A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Special Conditions

• Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and registration with the Pharmacy Board of South Australia.
• May be required to work outside of normal business hours or on call roster.
• A flexible approach to the taking of leave is required.
• May be required to work a 24/7 support roster
• Will be required to participate in site activation activities as determined by Manager.
